I can't believe I'm going to Japan tomorrow for an entire year. It feels like I should stil be talking about going, but now that it's actually happening I'm starting to wonder how I'll handle it when I get there. My biggest worry is getting too homesick, especially since I don't have any particular plans to come back to the U.S. while I'm there. I'm glad I was able to see a lot of my friends before I left. (I'm actually in Oakland at my sister's apartment...We'll be leaving for SFO tomorrow morning.)
Family and friends: I'll be trying to update this with all the intersting/crazy/funny/scary/etc. things that happen while I'm gone so you can see what I'm doing. 11 hour flight, here I come!
